Richard A. Jones, 80, found peace at his Elmhurst home on Aug. 4, 2008, loving husband of Audrey and the late Shirley; dear father of Richard (Cathy) Jones, Judith (Rick) Jones-Boyko and Thomas (Mike
Tyllas) Jones; stepfather of Barbara "Bobbi" (Lawrence "Lorry") Root, Kristeen Dotson, Mel Weyna, Michele (Chris) Davenport and Lawrence Weyna; cherished grandfather of Bianca and Sebastian Davenport; uncle of many. Friends may visit Thursday, Aug. 7, 3 to 9 p.m. at the Pedersen-Ryberg Mortuary, 435 N. York Rd., Elmhurst. Prayers Friday, Aug. 8, 9 a.m. at the Mortuary, followed by a Celebration of Funeral Mass, Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, Elmhurst, at 10 a.m. Interment St. Michael Cemetery, Palatine.
