Please accept my sympathies on your fathers passing. I see he was a Navy man and a mechanical engineer just like my Dad. It´s always hard to lose a parent no matter when it is. My thoughts are with you and may his memory be a blessing.

Hi Gregg: First, I am very sorry to hear about the passing of your father. I saw the obituary in the Chicago Tribune. Please accept my condolences. Second, you are probably wondering who I am. You and your family were friends with me and my family about a million years ago when we lived on Mayfield in Chicago´s west side. Our mothers played mahjongg and our fathers (I think) golfed and bowled together. According to my sister, Nancy, you and I would "run wild" when you came over to our apartment. We had fun. We moved when I was 8 years old and I think you moved a year or so before we did. My wife Barb and I have lived in Highland Park for the last 35 years. We have two sons, both in their 30´s each one living on a different coast. Nancy also has two children, also grown. She just moved to Utah. Sadly, both of my parents are gone. I hope you are doing well. Again, I am sorry for your loss. I hope you don´t mind this email but when I saw your Dad´s name and your name I wanted to let you know that I was thinking of the good times we had as kids. Larry Scott
