Richard Joseph Markowski, age 81, of Naperville, IL, passed away on May 20, 2012. Beloved husband of Barbara Holstrom Markowski; loving father of Marjorie (Jonathan Scott Sr.) Clements, Patricia (Charles) Zimmerman, Diane (James) Stephenson, Richard (Karen) Markowski, Donald (Judy) Markowski and Robert (Roseanne) Markowski; dear grandfather of Delbert Theodore (Emily) Zimmerman, Barbara (Robert Sr.) Burton, Jonathan Clements Jr., Nicholas Stephenson, Joseph (Lisa) Markowski, Andrew Stephenson, Caroline Clements, Julie Markowski, Jacquelyn Markowski, Nicole Markowski, Christine Stephenson, Lauren Markowski and Jacob Markowski; fond great-grandfather of Robert Burton Jr.; cherished brother of Loretta Kroll; brother-in-law of Roseann Markowski and Lisle (Diane) Holstrom. Richard is also survived by many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Harriet Markowski. A visitation will be held on Monday, May 28, 2012 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home & Crematory, 24021 Royal Worlington Dr., (Rte. 59), Naperville. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 29 at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 801 S. Eola Rd., Aurora; Interment, Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL Memorial gifts in Richard Markowski's honor may be donated to Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Water Stone Cir., Joliet, IL 60431 www.joliethospice.com or Edward Foundation Cancer Center, 801 S.
