TO AUNT BETTY, DOMINICK, MIKE, ANDY, AND THE ENTIRE SARALLO FAMILY. WE ALL HAVE MANY MANY FOND MEMORIES OF UNCLE DICK. MINE PERSONALLY ARE ALL THE CHRISTMAS PARTIES YOU USED TO HAVE AT THE HOUSE. THE CHRISTMAS PARTIES AT SCHOOL. IT WAS THE MOST FUN SEEING HIM AS SANTA PUTTING SMILES ON ALL THOSE LITTLE FACES. AND OF COURSE WHO COULD EVER FORGET THE 4TH OF JULY PICNICS. GOD HELP ANYONE WHO EVER TRIED TO TAKE HIS WATERMELLONS AWAY FROM HIM. JUST FOR MY FAMILY ALL THE SUPPORT THE SARALLOS GAVE US DURRING AND AFTER THE UNTIMLEY PASSING OF MY DAD. WE LOVE YOU VERY MUCH. LOVE DIANNE AND ROBERTA SABELLA

I cannot express how saddened I am by the passing of Mayor sarallo. He was a wonderful man whom made Oakbrook Terrace what it is. He had a special place in his heart for the Fire department which helped us grow too. I will miss not seeing him passing by the firehouse and giving us his wave and hollering out to us. He is in a better place now full of nothing but wonderful memories. God bless him and I will miss him soo very much.

Your sadness will be overcome with your wonderful memories of your life together. I know this from experience - so when I tell you this - it will be true - your tears will turn to smiles when you remember something especially fun and wonderful that you both did or experienced together. I send you my deepest love at this time and again I think of you and your family and know you all will hold each other closely.

Dear Mrs. Sarallo and Family,
I very very sorry to hear the news about Mr. Sarallo. I can't begin to imagine what you are going through at this time. If you need anything, please do not hesitate to call. I will really miss running into him at the White Hen or 7-11 and being able to talk to him about anything in the world. He was always there if you had a problem with something. He would put anything on hold if you needed to talk about something. We will miss him dearly. Best of luck with everything and all of you will be in our prayers.
