Rita Marie Allain, age 96, born in Chicago on June 15, 1925, was welcomed to enter eternal life on October 11, 2021. She was a resident of Beacon Hill Retirement Home in Lombard, Il. Rita is the cherished sister of Virginia (the late William) Kouba, Marguerite (the late William) Coe, Frances (the late Vincent) Brand, Michael (Violet) Allain and sister-in-law Betty Allain. She was preceded in death by brothers Joseph and Edward Allain. Rita is the loving aunt, great aunt, great great aunt, plus godmother of many.

Rita graduated from St. Gregory High School in Chicago. She worked for the Chicago & Northwestern Railroads for most of her adult life. Her kindness and generosity were valued family and friends.

Services are Monday, October 25, 2021 at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church, 480 S. Park Blvd. in Glen Ellyn, IL. Visitation at the church from 9:00 am until 9:45am proceeded by 10:00am Mass. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery Chapel, 700 N. River Road, Des Plaines, Il.
