Although we didn't know your family well..we feel your loss. You are part of the West Oak family that we recently left..but will always feel a part of. Morgan, I remember you as a little girl, coming over to our house with Lauren C. You were, and I'm sure, still are, so sweet! I lost my dad when I was your age, I understand and feel your pain. Dear Sheryl, Neal, and Morgan,

Steve and I were stunned today when

we heard the sad news of Rob's passing. I know it has been many

years since we have been in touch

but we will never forget all the

years and days we spent together.

Just yesterday, Steve mentioned trying to get a hold of some old

menswear buddies when we go to

Ross's graduation in NY next month.

I will never forget the time we

were at the Del Coronado and Rob and

Steve and I were sitting having cocktails over the tennis courts

and we were people watching, and

he saw this couple pass by and said

there goes Polly and Esther walking

by, we all laughed knowing he meant

polyester. Sheryl I will always remember flying high in the helicopter with you and Tina in Hawaii and most of all coming to Neals bris in NY. Life has taken

us in many directions but we never

forget all the wonderful years and times we spent in the menswear business. Our thoughts and prayers

are with you and your family. With all our love,

Elyse and Steve and Ross Ruben

To the Daniels Family,

Rob was such a big as life character, we shared many laughs during the years that we worked with him at the Daube group. We last saw him at the February Show in Chicago and he was smiling as usual, he also showed us recent pictures of the family, he was so very proud of his children. It's hard to believe he's gone.

Our deepest sympathy is with you at this time.

Sincerely,

Your friends at Western Glove Works

Dear Sheryl, Neal and Morgan,

Our hearts are saddened and there are no words to express our sympathy for your loss. Rob was a great guy who befriended our family in many ways. As Jill said today, "Rob was one of the good guys." We were not aware of the service today until it was over, so we want you to know that you have been in our thoughts and prayers over the past few weeks. Terry appreciated Rob's companionship at work and will miss him in his day to day life. If there is anything we can do for your family please let us know.

Sincerely,

The McCann Family

Sheryl, Neal and Morgan:

Our prayers are with you. Rob will always be "Coach" to us. Rob had such a wonderful impact on so many young men he coached over the years. Eric told me that he wouldn't love baseball as much as he does, if Rob hadn't been his coach. We will miss him.

Condolences,

I will miss the daily presence of Rob as I work online everyday. I could always count on CongaRob (BATBAA)to be on my AOL Buddy List, if and when I either had a question, or I just wanted to kid around.

Just hearing the drumbeat when he logged into his screenname indicated his presence, and it will be missed.

I feel very sad today that I can't join everyone in Chicago to pay my respects to Rob. Know, however, they are heartfelt.

I had upmost respect for him, and enjoyed our twice-a-year gatherings at the show. How sad it was to hear of his illness.

I always shed a tear when I read our industry newsletters and learn of friends that have died, that I didn't even know. This was an extraordinary loss for a man that should have had so many more years to be with us all.

Let's use this moment to remind ourselves that every day is important, and that while we plan for tomorrow, we have to live for today.

Thanks for letting me express myself as my thoughts are with the Daniel's family and all of the retailers and suppliers that will grieve today.
