A 45-year resident of Oak Park, peacefully passed January 8, 2021, at the age of 72. He joins his parents, Harry Jr. and Margaret; and his brothers, Harry III, James, and John. Bob is missed and survived by loving wife, Vicky; devoted daughters, Katie and Meggie; and brothers, Brian, Mark, Craig, and David; sisters-in-law; and many nieces, nephews, and their children. Bob retired from Abbott Laboratories after 25 years as an International Tax Attorney. He graduated from St. Peter Chanel High School and Ohio University, and received his law degree from Ohio State University. Bob had a passion for knowledge, history, hiking, and books. He has traveled around the world and served on the Board of the Ice Age Trail. Bob donated his extensive collection of rare books to the University of Chicago as the "Robert S. Connors Basic Program Collection," which includes dozens of incunabula. He will be deeply missed by all those that knew him. At this time, no memorial service has been set.
