DEAR ROSE,
OUR FAMILY SHARES IN THE MEMORIES OF BOB. HE WAS A SPECIAL PERSON TO MY FAMILY IN OUR DAYS OF SORROW WHEN HE LED MY FAMILY IN PRAYER FOR MY DYING SISTER,SHEILA. HE SACRIFICED HIS TIME FOR MY FAMILY AND FOR THAT WE WILL BE ALWAYS THANKFUL. HE WAS A LEADER BY EXAMPLE. WE WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THE DUFFY'S RELIGIOUS LEADERSHIP DURING OUR CFM YEARS. BOB'S IRISH SMILE WILL BE FOREVER WITH US.
SINCERELY,

Dear Rose and Family,
Please accept my condolences on Bob's death. I was truly sorry to hear of his passing. Bob was a strong advocate for the PADS program at Wayside. His efforts helped to open the doors of the parish for the homeless. I know he will be blessed for those efforts and many other ministries he participated in as an deacon.
Unfortunately, I will be unable to be with you for the wake and funeral. I am out of town until the beginning of August. Please know that I will remember Bob at Mass this Sunday and all of you in my prayers.

Dear Rose Marie and Family
Please accept my deepest sympathies with the passing of Bob. He exemplified what a husband, father, gentleman and friend should be. He is ever inscribed in so many wonderful memories that the two of you brought to our whole family, that he will forever be fondly remembered and very much missed. He loved you all and his God beyond the capability of so many, and has now joined with his son Denis under the protection of the God he served for so long. He will rest in peace and we are all grateful to him for the way he touched our lives.

Dear Rose and Family,
I was deeply saddened to read of Bob's passing in this mornings Tribune. My memories of Bob go back to 1974 when we slept side by side at my Cursillo weekend on Wabash Avenue. We subsequently worked several teams together and Bob was always one I looked to for spiritual insight. I will remember him always for his kindness and gentleness.
Fondly,
Don Anderson
