Dad: They did it!!! The Chicago White Sox won the World Series!! I am sure you were up in heaven with all the other diehard White Sox fans cheering them on. We all can't help think that you had something to do with their victory!! We really miss you.
Love, Nancy

Dear Dad:
This is so hard. I am really going to miss you. The following is what I was going to say in church yesterday but I didn't think I could get through it. I'm sorry. But I want everyone to know about you so I hope alot of people read this.
You were such a big prescence in my family's lives. Steph can't imagine life without you. She says nothing is going to be the same anymore. She is right. Joey wants to know who is going to put his hooks on his fishing pole now that you are gone.
But I have so many memories...when I was in about fourth grade I remember you bringing my lunch to school when I forgot it and I was so excited to see you in the window of our classroom door. You were all dressed up and on your way to work. I remember watching the Blackhawks game with you on a winter night and during the breaks between periods you would get up and put your winter coat on and go out in the backyard and spray our ice rink with one more coat of water. We had so much fun on that ice rink. A few years later I remember waiting very inpatiently on the front porch for you to come home from work because you were bringing home my new bunny, Spanky. Those are a few fond memories from a long time ago...there are alot more.
More recently, and these are what I will miss the most, all our chats over coffee in the late mornings at your house with little Joey and then later Jake running around. We would talk about the family, the kids, work and investing. You would tell us what was a good thing to invest money in. The times that you came over with Mom on your way from getting gas at "that cheap place on the corner" in the afternoons. I always tried to have the coffee on and some cookies or cake for you.
Through the years we went from waiting for the babies to wake up from their naps to sitting on the deck waiting to see the kids walk out the back door of the school together. They would get all excited and wave while running home to see you and Mom. They really loved it when they saw that you came to visit.
Now when I make split pea or minestrone soup I will have to make a lot less of it. I really loved making soup for you. You would usually call me after you had some and tell me how good it was. Sometimes I know that it was not the greatest batch of soup but you always said it was.
We have all been through so much with you and Mom in the past few years and it has been exhausing but I would not change anything and I would still drop everything to help you if I could.
People would say at the wake that you were sick for so long. I don't look it that way. You had your health problems but we still had fun -- alot of fun. And you were happy.
I know that you were really looking forward to the nice weather coming and the summer fishing derby that you helped Joey win last year. We will still go to the fishing derby and I hope you meet us there.
Well Dad, I could go on and on but I will stop here. Just know that I will miss you so much. You definately took a part of me with you when you left. I will remember all these things and more forever.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you have done to help me and my family.
Love your youngest daughter, Nancy

Dear Norma & Family,
Our very deepest sympathy to all of you. We have always enjoyed our friendship, not only during our many years at St. Cornelius, but also as our "little group" has retired and scattered to different areas. Bob will be truly missed. We thank God that his passing was peaceful and our prayers are with you.

Dear Norma and Family,
We were sure sorry to hear about Bob. He was a great friend. We remember all of the good times we had. Picnics, playing football where he was the quarterback and I was the receiver. Boy could he throw far. We went to Eagle River,Ws.together many times. He use to come down to Florida and visit with us. Boy did we have fun.
Bob was our youngest Son, Ronald's,Godfather.
We are going to miss you, Bob.
Much love and sympathy to the whole family.

Norma and family,
I have missed Bob ever since he retired and left REB. He made the
work day a lot brighter than it has
been since he left. Everyone laughed a lot more when he was here.
His name has been mentioned many, many
times over the course of the past few years, someone always commenting how he could get us all
laughing. Bob was unique!!
He was indeed a character!! Just
thinking about the things he said
to any of our co-workers, still
makes me laugh.
Bob was a terrific guy with a big heart, and I'm so glad to have known him not only as a co-worker but also a friend.
With sympathy and prayers for Bob
and his family.

In Memory of,
Robert T. Eaker
God saw you getting tierd
and the cure was not to be,
So he put His arms around you.
And whispered, "Come to Me"
With tearful eyes we watched you suffer, and saw you fade away.
Although we loved you dearly,
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
Our Deepest Sympathy,
Jim & Donna Griesser
