Robert Enemark Obituary
In May 1953 he married Sharon Wernicke who preceded him in Death May 2007. December 17, 2011, he married B. Sue Haddon who survives him.
He is survived by grandson, James Cabrera, four great grandchildren; Kelsey, & Mathew Cabrera of Mahatten, IL., Dylan, and Joel Cabrera, great-great grandson Liam Chavez-Cabrera all of Nebraska. Step children; Kent (Angela) Haddon of Lowell, IN, Jill (Randy) Renner of Gilbert, AZ. Special friends: Michael & Sue Bieber, Cedar Lake, IN. Step grandchildren; Brittany (Ashton) Blagojevic of Cedar Lake, IN., Joshua Haddon, Lowell, IN., Brooke Renner, Gilbert, AZ., & Haley Renner of Cedar Lake, IN. Megan & Macknezie Bieber of Cedar Lake, IN. Step great grandchildren Lilly and Caine Blagojevic. Preceded in death by parents Roland and Bertha Enemark, sons: Robert L. and Randal L. Enemark.
Robert attained rank of Eagle Scout while member of St Thomas Apostle Troop 503, Chicago, IL and served as Ranger of Owasippi Scout Camp, White Hall, MI. He was an Air Force Veteran of Korean Theater, working with clandestine communications Madrid, Spain. Member of American Legion Post 261, Cedar Lake, IN. He was owner of Enemark Auto Supply, Chicago IL; and American Engine Rebuilders, Elmhurst, IL and retired employee of U. S. Post Office, O'Hare Maintenance Dept. He was avid motorcyclist, racing from 1949 thru 1968 and proud accomplished pilot and loved flying his own Cesna 182. Last bike was 2004 Harley Sportster 1200 retired in 2014. In October, 2021, he was thrilled to have survived a quadruple bypass.
Memorial Visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 6:00 p.m. at the Elmwood Funeral Chapel and Crematory 9931 Lincoln Plaza Way Cedar Lake, IN. (1/2 block south of 133rd ave. across from the Library at Lincoln Plaza Way.) In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors in Robert's name, 4899 Belfort Rd, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL.33256. www.elmwoodchapel.com 219- 374-9300
