Robert W, Fahey. Veteran of WWII. Beloved husband of Mary Sue nee Kinkle for 59 wonderful years; loving father of Robert (Peggy), Timothy (Mary Ann), Patrick (Roberta), John (Linda) and the late David; devoted grandfather of David, Michael, Bobby, Tommy, Deanna, Jaylyn Fahey and Erin Lamm; dear brother of Patricia (the late Glenn) Rankin, Jack (Carol) Fahey and the late Thomas (Anna Mae), Marian (Stanley) Bubinas and Shirley (Stephen) Nichin; fond uncle of many. Visitation at the Cooney Funeral Home, 3918 W. Irving Park Rd., Chicago Wednesday from 3 to 9 p.m. Funeral Thursday 9:30 a.m. to St. Benedict Church mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment All Saints. I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I have such fond memories of both of you that I will cherish forever. You both were so special to my grandma and grandpa, and still to my mom and all my aunts and uncles, and also to myself and Megan. I remember when you two were first married and stayed in Mom & Dad's apartment on Winchester while we went to New York. To the Fahey's,I am sorry to hear about Bob, I rememember your family well from my NBC years , played some sports with Tim and Dave and my brothers with Bob, and remember seeing Mr.and Mrs family around the club. Aunt Sue and Cousins,
I am deeply saddened by the loss of Uncle Bob, my godfather. Even though I haven't had as many opportunities to spend time with him since our move to Arizona, I will always cherish those times we did share, especially those from when I was young.
