Robert J. Hajicek, Jr., beloved husband of Dawn; loving father of Robert J. Hajicek, III and Jennifer Hajicek; devoted son of Mary and the late Robert J. Hajicek, Sr. and son- in-law of Josephine McLane; dear brother of Susan Connelly and Marialice Logan and brother-in-law of June (Timothy) Daniels, Cynthia (Michael) Calhoun and Jill Palmer; fond uncle and cousin of many. Robert was a member of the Holy Family Knights of Columbus. He worked for Jewel for 21 years and KeHe Foods for 15 years. Robert was also an avid skier and loved woodworking. Visitation Monday from 3 to 9 p.m. at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Hwy and Tuesday at Holy Family Church, 2515 W. Palatine Rd., Inverness from 9am until time of Mass 10 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert's memory to support the Northwestern Brain Tumor Institute at Northwestern University.
