Robert J. Krohn, 82, of Edison Park, U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, beloved husband of Irene, nee Laskowski; loving father of Robert (Christine), James, Kenneth, Ann Marie, and Daniel; proud grandfather of Julie Ann and Nicole; fond brother of Donald (Lynn), Edward Krohn, Dorothy (Wayne) Smith, Marie (the late Larry) Ryan, and the late Bernard J. Krohn; many nieces and nephews. Visitation Monday, from 4 until 9 p.m. at the M.J. Suerth Funeral Home, 6754 N. Northwest Hwy., Chicago . Funeral Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. with prayers at the funeral home to the Church of St. Juliana, Oketo and Touhy Aves. for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment Maryhill Cemetery. Dear Irene and all the family:
We were so shocked and sorry to hear of Bob's death. We did not know about it until Jerry Lukasik told us today....well after the funeral.
Please accept our most sincere condolences. Bob was a wonderful person and a really good neighbor and we'll surely miss seeing him when we're back on Odell. God rest his soul.
