Robert J. Potempa on October 27, 2021, our "Big" brother was reunited with Mary, his wife of over 40 years. Born and raised on the southside of Chicago, Bob attended St. Turibius grammar school and DeLaSalle high school. His career in sales took him to Denver, CO, and Las Vegas, NV, where he and Mary lived for over thirty years. Travel, church and golf defined Bob's years in retirement.

Bob is survived by his brothers: John (Phyllis) and Frank (Deborah); nieces and nephews: Kimberly, Nicole, Matthew, Victoria, and Neil. He is a great uncle to Zach, Ava, Alexandra, and Robert.

Joint graveside services for him and Mary will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Oakland Cemetery in Waukon, IA, with Pastor Bryan Robertson officiating. Martin - Grau Funeral Home in Waukon assisted the family with local arrangements.
