Laughter is contagious! Let's start and epidemic! is a thought that comes to mind when I think about "Uncle Bob". Christmas for Brian, Eric, Rolland and Chris featured a gift from Uncle Bob. Tho considered a "gag" gift (or a "non" gift), IT was anticipated above anything else that Santa would bring. Nothing I've ever seen or heard of under the tree has ever taken the place of a meticulously wrapped box of burnt Christmas Cookies.
That moment for me, is a gift that keeps giving. Tho I wasn't there I do pass the memory along because, A smile always arrives. With warm condolences, Sincerely Peter Lott Heppner

I met Bob in about 1969 or 1970, when I bought a painting and the artist recommended that I go to Real Art to get it framed.
Over the years, there were many times that I stopped in to get things framed, and I always enjoyed the visits; I found out once, some years back, that Bob and one of my brothers had known each other in high school. And, at some point, I also got to know Greg once he joined the business.
I just counted more than a dozen pictures in my apartment, large and small, that Bob framed for me. I'd better not buy any more; I won't know where to take them.
I will remember Bob with affection, and I extend my sympathy to all of you, his family.
