Robert Donald Tranter, 95, formerly of Morton Grove, beloved husband of Mary Jo; loving father of Steven (Missy) and Sharon Ann (Timothy) Honaker; dear grandfather of Scott Tranter, Leanne (Don) Victorine, Brian (Mindy) Honaker, and Kevin (fiancee Caroline) Honaker; cherished great grandfather of Finn and Nolan; fond brother of the late Raymond. Long term employee of Rust-Oleum, Assistant Vice President of Administration, and member of the Royal Scot Society. Long term board member of Shore Training Center. Past Chairman and long term board member of Delta Dental of Illinois. Member of Morton Grove Community Church for over 60 years, was an elder, mission chairman, and served on many committees. Memorial service was held at The Morton Grove Community Church on October 25th. I had the pleasure of meeting Bob & Mary Jo many times at Morton Grove Community Church. He was a wonderful source of information. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
