A great guy! I have responded earlier when he passed away. I know his wife's Dad, Rollie Nelson of RTE (CEO) from way back and his daughter, who may not remember me. Bob and I worked together att Continental Bank. He had quite a career thereafter and did a lot of good in his life. My continuing love to him and his family. Sincerely, Herb Blutenthal hblutenthal@gmail,com.

Dear Kay, Christine, William and all other Wahlgrens,
Through looking at the Leonard Memorial Home website I saw Robert's nice obituary. It was well written and told a lot about Robert's successful and useful life. I was so sorry to learn about his recent passing
.Our family, Randolph, Janet, Edward and John Snively, knew Robert and Kay through belonging to the First Congregational Church of Glen Ellyn. We remember that Kay and Robert were also long-time members. In January, 1996 we moved to Upper Arlington, Ohio so that we would be closer to my brother, sister-in-law, nephew and Niece. We purchased a nice ranch condominium.
Bob's life indicates that he was a capable and most caring person. He went the extra mile to improve the lives of many less fortunate persons.
I want to Extend my sincerest sympathy. Bob's spirit will live on with all of you.

Kay and family, I was so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He was such an amazing volunteer in his Red Cross role. I had no idea how involved he was in other activities until I read his obit--he was always present and 110% committed to our clients, and I have no doubt he brought that compassion and service orientation to the so many people he helped over the years in so many different ways. He will be sorely missed. My thoughts are with you, Fran Edwardson
