Pat, I will never forget the nights of playing Pinnacle with you, or the many Sunday mornings running into to the two of you at Baker's Square. You were great friends of my in-laws and you will be in Dans' and my prayers.

Mr Ecker was one of my fondest memories of Maine East. I took his class my freshman year. He was very patient with me, I was NOT a natural in the darkroom. I am saddened to hear about his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Mr Ecker was the best part of my time at Maine East, he was the only teacher who was a friend or who even cared. Mr. Ecker and I would sit in the darkroom and talk about life, He told me I should marry Susan, and eventually she became my second wife. The last time I saw Mr. Ecker was in 1986 when Susan and I went back to M.E. to tell him we were getting married.
A few years ago I was able to get Mr. Eckers email address and we exchanged a few emails, I'm glad we did. I only knew Mr. Ecker for his first three years at M.E., but I will always remember what a special teacher and friend he was.
To his family, I am so sorry for your loss......
