Ruth Michaelson nee Crandle, 101, of Bridgeway of Bensenville and formerly of Oak Park. Beloved wife of the late Melvin T.; fond mother Arlene (Bart) Sandvik and Carol (Dick) Haughey; grandmother of Deborah Sandvik, Cheryl (Peter) Brand, Michael (Nikki) Haughey and the late Glenn B. Sandvik; great grandmother of Corey, Max Allen and America Haughey and Alexander and Sophia Brand; sister of Jean Schmoeller; aunt of 4 nieces and a nephew. Member of Bethel United Church of Christ. Visitation will be held on her birthday, Saturday, October 19 at Bethel United Church of Christ, 315 E. St. Charles Rd., Elmhurst from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M.
