My deepest condolences to the Levin family. Sandy was a joy to know and work with at Levin & Brend, P.C. Sandy was kind, authentic and such a strong, grounding presence. He will be deeply missed.
I chuckled at the story shared in his funeral video at 10:29 (https://youtu.be/vtRMcDhBYxQ?t=629). Sandy used to have weekly visits by his rabbi and dear friend after lunch. The rabbi always made the same track from the front glass door to the kitchen to grab a couple of diet Cokes, then finally to Sandy's office where they shut the door and spoke for hours. It was clear that Sandy cherished his time with his friend. One day, Sandy had an especially busy morning and wasn't able to eat his favorite ham sandwich. He sat down in the kitchen and was trying to eat his sandwich as quickly as he could before the rabbi arrived. Only a few bites into his lunch, the rabbi burst through the kitchen door to grab their pops, they locked eyes, and Sandy guiltily launched his ham sandwich away from him down the table. The rabbi shook his head at him, and they went back into Sandy's office to have their usual weekly chat. R.I.P. Sandy

Just heard today of Sandy's passing, I'm so sorry. Knew Sandy as my CPA/lawyer from 1982 until his retirement and as a trader at the CME as well. He was also my fathers CPA/Lawyer for the same period. Terrific man, great sence of humor, smart and always great council and advise. I will miss him, RIP.

Miffie, I am so sorry to hear of Sandy's passing. You might not remember me, I am Hyman Levin's granddaughter. We met with your family years ago. So sorry to hear of my cousin's passing.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Sandy. We knew each other for so long we grew up together and he was a true friend. I have such fond memories and good times that we shared wishing you Arlene and the rest of your family condolences and may you know no further sorrow
