We were very shocked and saddened to hear of the loss of your dear Seth. There are no words that will ease your sorrow. Losing a child leaves a void like no other and a hole in your heart forever. To my dear friend, my co-worker, and my heart,
For the last 18 years we have shared many, many memories, happy and sad, good and bad. On Friday April 14th, I had the privilege to be with you and your family when the unthinkable happened, your "PRECIOUS JEWEL" (you will understand), was taken from you. My heart was broken for you and your family. No words were the right words, no hugs were the right hugs and no explanation was the right explanation. Yet throughout the day, one thing was certain, Seth was deeply loved and Seth would be deeply be missed. As Oprah says, "It's What I know for sure". Jody, as a mother, and a mother of twins, you amazed me at your strength and courage you always gave to your boys. Everyone who knows you, knows that your boys are your life. You stand by them with unconditional love and have made many sacrifices to give them the best that you could give.You are an inspiration to all of us. And my special Matthew, thank you for spending your time with me sharing such personal memories and moments that you and Seth had together. I have watched you grow-up and shared special moments with you and Seth and I know we will share more in the future. You hold a very special place in my heart and whenever you want to talk again, I will be there for you. Jody, in the days and weeks to come, please let your friends care for you. You are such and amazing person, but always the CAREGIVER. Please reach out to all of us and let us take care of you. We all love you very much. Also, in the days and weeks ahead, grieve the loss of Seth, but remember to celebrate his life; the life of a son, brother, grandson, father, and friend. What wonderful titles he held.
