It's sad that another one of my classmates whom I not only graduated with but whom I've talked to and hung out with has gone to soon! Our class of '93 is shrinking and I will continue to pray for them and everyone else!

Dear Jacob family,
I offer my sincerest condolences on your unimaginable loss. I knew Shaun because for the past decade or so, I'd worked with him on voiceovers. Producing his voiceover demos. One as recently as a couple of months ago. He used to call me Boss. He was incredibly respectful and hardworking. He was ambitious, and truly cared about the people he came in contact with. I'll miss his him forever.
In Peace,
Mindy

Dear Bob, Lou, Mia & Amy, There are so many people and places Shaun left a mark on, and the world is better for him having been a part of it. I was grateful to work with him and count him as a friend. He always had a smile and a reassuring way, and his drive and passion for lifting others up was infectious. He was an incredible leader, and that's part of his great legacy that stays with me. Thank you, Shaun, for you, for the gift of knowing you.

Dear Jacob Family,
I'm so sorry to hear of Shaun's passing. I immediately thought back to our time at St. Ambrose when Shaun, Brian, Mike and I lived together.... Some of the best times of my life! 3 Chicago Catholic League kids and Stick from Peoria! Shaun was such a great guy, and a positive influence on us even then. I truly can't remember when he didn't have a smile on his face. I'm a better person for having known him.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Shaun, you are already missed by so many. You were such an amazing guy and I'm so lucky to have known you. I will never forgot you driving over an hour to pick Anne and myself up when our car broke down on the way to Davenport. We thought we had crossed the mighty Miss. we were very wrong, We thought we were 15 minutes away and you and Danny drove forever to come get us. That doesn't even begin to explain your kindness. You were a great friend to Danny and like a brother to him which made you family to me. Loved you, Shaun and you are greatly missed. You made a mark on this world without a doubt and left the people around you better having known you. Love and miss you.

Shaun, I want to Thank You for always giving more than you've ever taken from the Brother Rice Community. Your love, your insight, your leadership , your enthusiasm, and your pride, to be a Crusader will be passed on for future generations of Crusaders (my sons). We all know that your tireless work for a better Brother Rice has helped put our Community in a better place.
Your endless drive, and passion for Brother Rice makes me proud to say I'm a crusader. If we only had a % of your spirit in all our alum we could do anything.
Again Thank you for the example you have left on what a true Crusader is.
Rest Easy Brother
Hail our Crusader,

I cannot even begin to tell everyone how impressive, selfless and cool I found Shaun. Always something kind and supportive to say or just knowing what's going on and acting appropriately. Rest in peace my friend.

Shaun was the most generous and selfless person I have met. Before we met, I knew of him through his numerous efforts to help our Alma Mater, Brother Rice. When I met him, I quickly found out that Shaun was exactly the person I thought he would be one who always put others before himself. He was a mentor to my son and a friend to the entire Coghlan family. Bob and Mary Lou, you raised one outstanding young man. The thoughts and prayers of the Coghlan family are with you and your family during this difficult time for all of us.
