Stephen L. Meyers passed away on April 8th, after a short illness. He was 89. He is survived by his beloved wife Sandra W. Meyers, and his two grown sons, Paul and Andrew. An Army veteran who served in the Pacific during World War Two, he was born in New York City, and moved to Evanston in 1963. Mr. Meyers was the was the author several books about Trolley Cars.In place of flowers, his family asks for charitable donations in his name to Army Emergency Relief or to the Illinois Railway Museum.

So Sorry to hear of Steve's untimely death and my sincere condolences to you and his sons.. I have posted a notice about Steve's passing to my NYC Transit Modelers Group forum of which Steve was a long time and well liked member, and our friend.
He will be much missed by all of us.
