Worked with Terry in 1998/99. A kind gentleman with a great sense of humor. Had many laughs together.

I was a big fan of Terry backin 1973-74, when he was on WIOI in Portsmouth, Ohio. I remember how much fun my friendand I had listening tohim every day after school. We were in eighth grade at the time, and we frequently wrote letters to him, which he often read on the air, to our delight.

A few years ago while clearing things out of my parents' house after they died, I came across my cherished picture of Terry, which I thought had been long lost. This got me started trying to find out where he was, in the hope that I might be able to send him an email to let him know how much of an impression he had made on me. I was so, sosorry when Irecentlylearnedthis sad news.

Terry, I'll never forget you!

Terry and I were friends going way back to college radio days at Loyola University. Our whole gang is saddened to hear the news of his passing. Unfortunately, we only learned about that this week, in September 2016.

Terry was a great radio talent, always (well, almost always!) great fun to be around, and a delightful personality. I have memories of visiting him in Florida, and being amazed at how his smile and demeanor could charm people.

We stayed friends, exchanging mail and tapes and some visits, through his adventures in Florida, Ohio, West Virginia, and Palm Springs. Unfortunately, we hadn't been much in touch in recent years. My last phone call with Terry was about two years ago.

This last week, after hearing the news, I've been listening to a bunch of tapes I had from Terry, including airchecks and other things. (If anyone is interested, contact me at kevin-at-shsmedia-dot-com)

On behalf of Terry's WLUC Loyola circle of friends, who have treasured memories of him, I extend deepest condolences to his extended family.

This is how I remember Terry

Just saw this now...August 2016. So sorry to find this out. For some reason, I was thinking about Terry. We were friends in the late 1980's renting rooms from the same lady in Moreno Valley, CA. Terry was a super fun and nice guy and had a great huge shaggy dog named Kitty! He was very kind and considerate and frequently made me a variety of cassette music tapes. I remember many evenings sitting talking with Terry, who by the way, stayed in shape by running a lot of miles every day.
I miss you Terry. I wish I had found you sooner. <3 Much love <3 Ulla

Terry taught me radio way back in 1980. I was a high school kid wanting to learn and he took the time to teach me. I'm glad to have known him. Couldn't have had a better teacher. RIP Terry!
