Terry was a lifelong friend of mine as we both grew up in Decatur. Post high school...Terry was one person from Decatur I frequently visited and maintained a lasting friendship. Then, when he moved to Florida for the winters, I frequently visited with him and played golf. He and Susan were lifetime friends and I will miss them dearly. Hard to believe he´s gone....

I'll never forget your sage advice when i was under some stress as just a young pup at our firm: 'Ronnie, it's ok, when we play in the street we're bound to get hurt once in a while.' Rest easy with your beloved, partner.

Terry was definitely unique.
He was an encouraging mentor in many areas of my life.
I´m a better person for knowing him.

I was sorry to read in the Trib of Terry´s death. I grew up in Decatur, Illinois as well and fondly remember Terry from summers spent at Cresthaven Country Club. Terry was instrumental in teaching me to swim. He was a lifeguard at the pool and taught swimming lessons, as well. I can still remember his curly blonde hair and cheerful outlook. He was a friend to everyone. My heartfelt prayers go out to his family.

Dear Karen and Christian,
Cheryl and I are keeping you and Terry and Susan in our hearts and prayers. Terry and Susan left us all too soon and they will be missed but remembered by their families and friends.
We lived across the street from them on Ritchie Court for 25 years.
Terry was the oldest of us fifteen first cousins, and now we are down to eleven.
