Vernon Lussky Obituary
Vernon B. Lussky, 95, of Northfield, formerly of Louisville, KY, passed away November 2, 2015. Beloved husband of Donna; loving father of Anne Ruiz, Cathy McGann, Mary Ellen (Robert) Warren; fond step father of Deeda Seed (Larry Holder) and Lindon (Hayley) Seed; cherished grandfather of 12; and great grandfather of two. Vernon was a graduate of the University of Louisville where he played basketball. He was also a veteran of WWII serving in the US Navy. He was Vice President for Commerce Clearing House where he was employed for almost 40 years. He was an avid tennis player and golfer. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 7 at 11 am at N.H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home, 1240 Waukegan Rd., Glenview (just south of Lake Ave. on west side). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Heart Association, 208 S. LaSalle Street, Suite 1500, Chicago, IL 60604 or American Cancer Society, 4550 E. Bell, Suite 126, Phoenix, AZ 85032.
