William Coleman Obituary


William J. Coleman Sr., 80, longtime of Woodridge and Ft. Myers, FL. Devoted husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully Nov. 30 with his family by his side. A native of Youghal, County Cork, Ireland. His faith and love of family are the legacy he leaves to everyone he touched. Bill was preceded in death by his parents Laurence and Maggie Ann (nee Evans); siblings May Hayes, Michael and Hannah O'Sullivan and infant Patrick. Bill is survived by his wife of 51 years, Margaret (nee Hurley); his children Margie (Hank) Arnold, Bill (Juanita), Brian (Patti), Colleen (David) Injeski, Larry (Maureen), Tom (Kathy) and Nancy (Ticia Smith); as well as his grandchildren Ryan (Laura), Jonathan and Caitlin Arnold, Bill Coleman, JoAnn (Jerry) Satterley, Charley (Janna) Miller, Kevin, Maura and Danny Coleman, Megan, Kyle and Kris Coleman, Mary, Bridget and Michael Coleman; great-grandchildren Chris Miller, Charley and Allie Miller brother Larry (Noreen), sister Kathleen (the late Neal) McConnellogue, sister-in-law Peg and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Visitation Sunday, 2 to 8 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 W. Cermak Rd., Forest Park, IL. Prayers Monday 9 a.m. at the funeral home, going to St. John of the Cross Church, Western Springs, for a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass. Private interment, St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park.
