William Edmond Cormier, 95, of Arlington Heights, IL, died peacefully on September 3, 2021. Born in 1925 in Detroit, MI, Bill grew up in Chicago, the son of Ted Cormier and Julia (nee Coughlin) Cormier. He attended Carl Schurz High School and DePaul University, earning a BA in English Literature. He soon was hired by Hearst Publications where he prospered for more than 30 years. In 1954 Bill married Ruth Adele Gratsch who, for the rest of his life, formed the wellspring of his happiness. We will miss him.
