William Gleason Obituary

William "Bill" Gleason, 73, of Chicago, passed away at home surrounded by family on July 21, 2022. Beloved husband of Leona (nee Nigliazzo) Gleason; loving brother of Charles "Butch" Gleason, Linda (Pete) Brzezinski and the late Joan, Marlene and Jimmy Gleason; dear brother-in-law of Martin "Butch" (Sylvia) Nigliazzo, Betsy Ann (Mike) Lazar, Anthony Nigliazzo, David (Mindy) Nigliazzo and the late Michael Nigliazzo; adored uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass, Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 10:00 am at Queen of All Saints Basilica, 6280 N. Sauganash Ave., Chicago. Inurnment at All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Des Plaines. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the National Alliance on Mental Illness at www.nami.org.

It´s a great sadness to lose Uncle bill. We will always remember his warmth and humor when he called us nieces and nephews "turkeys". He will be dearly missed.
