Mr. Whitsett was my principal at CK Price. There were a few men during that time when I was a boy that you could look up to. Mr. Whitsett was one of those men. He commanded respect. He seemed genuine in his care for his students and his school. The impression I had was that he loved to serve others, and a man who honored and feared GOD. Thank you Mr. Whitsett for being a great leader and role model.
May the Love of Christ comfort his family.

We were so sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. Since he was my first boss at OHS after I got out of high school, I have very fond memories of him as he was not only a wonderful boss but he was a warm, caring, gentle and giving person who made a huge difference in in the lives of so many as we were growing up.
You are in our thoughts and hearts and we pray you find some comfort in the fact that there are so many of us whose life Charlie touched that feel the same as we do.
The world is a much better place thanks to Charlie and while we will miss him immensely, he will live in our hearts forever.
Much Love,
Mike & Kathy (Moranville) Lyon
