I only found out recently that Charles Lloyd Worthington III was my second cousin, 2x removed while researching my family history. My mother is a Worthington. I am sorry that I didn't get the chance to know him. But I am glad to have the chance to get to know his daughter, Patricia, through my research. I am deeply sorry for your loss and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

This is a picture of my Uncle (Charlie) Charles L. Worthington with my father Darrell Clifford Hartt (deceased). They were sitting in a tree, in a park, probably in Sacramento, Calif. I am unsure of the exact date this photo was taken. Charlie was a wonderful Uncle and always so much fun to be with.
When I got married in 1978 Charlie and Marian came to my wedding and their wedding gift was a pair of "BOXING" gloves!! I guess that was his way of letting my new husband know he might be in for a bit of trouble!! What a guy. I sure will miss you Uncle Charlie!
