Florence Leona Masteller

1943 - 2023

FLORENCE LEONA MASTELLER Florence Leona Masteller, 79, was released from the pain of dementia on April 3, 2023. Florence was born in Louisiana on November 19th, 1943 and later moved to the Bay Area with her mother. She met her husband, Arthur Masteller, when she was 16 years old and shortly after they were married and remained married for 62 years. Art and Florence moved to Orland, CA in 1975 where they raised their 7 children. They were involved in youth and high school sports and many social events of the town. Florence is survived by her husband, Arthur Masteller, her brothers Tony, Ed and Luke, her 7 children, listed oldest to youngest, Deborah Niegel, Curtis Masteller, Valerie Karle, Michelle Masteller, Cathy Paulson, Paul Masteller and Sarah Billings. She is also survived by 14 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. We will forever miss her spirit, her love of cooking and especially her love for babies and animals. She will forever be in our hearts and missed dearly. She will be laid to rest at Clear Creek Cemetery in Butte Valley on May 27th @ 11am with a memorial service held after in Orland, CA.
