I discovered your story on New Years of 2011. Little did I know you'd already passed. Now 7 years on your message has stayed with me. Your videos have been etched into my mind. Oh how I wish I could have expressed my empathy to you. I was only young but my friend and I wept over your suffering. I only hope you are now at peace, smiling and having the time of your (after) life.

Lucille, I want to thank you for being brave enough to share your story. You have convinced me to not make risky choices for cosmetic surgery. Who knows, your story may have saved my life or the lives of thousands of people out there. Thank you for being so very brave. Dearest Lucille, I found you quite by accident many months ago. Your life story is haunting, disturbing and yet it draws a person in to want to know more about you. I've read your blogs, seen your videos, and looked at your pictures...you are a truly beautiful person with a unique gift for finding the extraordinary in every day life. I think of you often and wish I'd had a chance to meet you. As long as your memory is carried forward by all your friends, family and the people that never got to meet you...you will never be gone or forgotten. A true legacy too all you have done and endured. Lucille, I know you're out there somewhere. I want to say that I'm so sorry for what happened. Your story will save many. God bless you and give your family the strength to carry on without you. It broke my heart to find your obituary, and your beauty will stay with me til the end of my days. I will tell everyone about you. We will meet someday, but today is a sad day for me, for I feel I have lost one of the most precious people this world had to offer. Rest in peace, I know that you are out there growing the most beautiful gardens for the angels. My dearest condolences to your family.
