MADELEINE WELLS Obituary

Nov. 10, 1948 - April 21,2009
Our mother Madeleine A. Wells, aka, "Maddy," passed away gracefully on April 21, 2009 at 7:15 p.m. at her daughter's house in Southern California. She had colon cancer that spread to her liver and she fought the disease for three years. She passed away with her daughters, Christie and Autumn at her side.
She left behind two daughters; three grandsons; and many other family and friends.
She was ready to be in peace with our Lord in Heaven. She looked forward to seeing her deceased husband, Todd; her mother; and her only brother.
My mom always reminded me that she had a great life and was very thankful for all the great friends and great experiences!
She wanted to be cremated and have her ashes spread into the ocean.

To Maddy's family:
I just want you to know there isn't a day that goes by when I don't think of Maddy-especially riding by the new tennis courts at Chico State on my way to work.
Jerry was pretty upset at the news...said Maddy was a class act...he still remembers the eyelashes!
I miss her lots-as do all of you, I'm sure. I'm so glad we were able to spend so much time together last summer. She was a very unique and wonderful person who loved her children and grandchildren dearly.
