Patricia Mae McElroy Shuman

PATRICIA SHUMAN Patricia Mae McElroy Shuman, born April 30, 1927 to Charles and Marjorie McElroy in Sacramento, and passed away January 19, 2024 in Biggs. She was raised and lived her entire life in Biggs. Pat graduated from Biggs High School in 1944 and attended Herald Business School in Sacramento. Pat retired as school District Secretary at Biggs Unified School District. She belonged to several quilt guilds and enjoyed working in her beautiful back yard. In 1945 Pat married Lester J. Shuman, and raised their family together in Biggs. She is preceded in death by one son, Gregory E. Shuman and survived by her husband of 78 years, and 3 children. Her surviving children are David of Orangevale, Dawn of Biggs, Doug of Oroville and 5 grand children and 3 great-grand children. Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
