Phyllis L. Smith-Campbell

Phyllis L. Smith-Campbell passed away on December 23, 2004, at the age of 80 in Redding, Calif. She was born on April 30, 1924, in Fairfax, S.D. to Herman and Thelma Kloepping. The family moved to southern California when Phyllis was a child which is where she met and married Eldon Smith. In 1950 Phyllis and Eldon moved to Chico with their two children. She retired from the State of California Employment Development Department in 1982 after 25 years of service. In 2001 Phyllis moved to Redding to be near her children.

She is predeceased by her parents and husbands Eldon Smith and Harry Campbell. Phyllis will be greatly missed by her son Eldon Dan Smith of Red Bluff and daughter and son-in-law Cindy and Larry Williams of Redding. She was the proud grandmother of four loving granddaughters and had five great-grandchildren.
