Tavy Anderson Obituary

TAVY ANDERSON Tavy Anderson of Paradise, beloved son of Clayton and Ioani Anderson, brother of Pelep, Lehrina and Julie, and fianc‚ of Becca Foote, passed away at Enloe Hospital on Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, after an accident. He was 26. Born Tavernor Phillip Anderson Feb. 11, 1987, in Saipan, Mariana Islands, he moved with his family to Maui, Hawaii, when he was 3 months old. He spent his childhood there on the beach and in the garden with his grandpa and grandma Anderson, before moving with his family to Paradise in 1995. He graduated from Paradise High School in 2005, studied at Butte College and was employed at Raley's in Chico. Tavy was devoted to his family and friends, and even the newest of friends considered him a brother. He touched many lives with his fun-loving nature, his kind heart and his ability to make everyone around him laugh and feel comfortable. He had a contagious smile and laugh, a mischievous sense of humor and a love of life that everyone around him could feel and be part of; his loving bear hugs were famous. His closest friends and family knew he was someone they could count on to be gentle and generous with his love, affection, kindness and humor. They say he enriched all their lives and will never be forgotten and always sorely missed. Tavy's engagement to Becca was the happiest time of his life, and everyone who knew the couple recognized their relationship was a real-life love story. All their friends and family members shared their joy and looked forward to celebrating with them at their wedding. Tavy loved his dogs Sasha, Marley and Tika, taking pictures, fishing, working out at Beyond Fitness, skiing, camping and many other outdoor and sporting activities. He never had a dull moment in his life; he always sought adventure and new experiences. He was happiest when surrounded by family and friends. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26, at Paradise Cemetery, and a celebration of life will follow at the Anderson family home. Tavy will be laid to rest next to his beloved Uncle Andrew, with whom he shared many happy fishing trips. Arrangements were handled by Newton-Bracewell Cremation & Funeral Service. Since day one he's been one of the most genuine people I've ever met. He always greeted me with a smile and a big bear hug! He was the type of guy who wanted to make people laugh and he usually succeeded in that. He's not going to be forgotten but missed dearly! Fly free friend, until we meet again. We love you always
