Happy Birthday to you, my soulmate, my beloved, my oao you. Last year at this time the cancer was taking its toll on you but you were able to share one of your favorite pasttimes with your family in La Conchita on your birthday. I remember Shannan and I watching you surf fishing on the beach where you spent may a good year growing up with your family. It makes my heart smile to remember moments like that where even as sick as you were you could enjoy, even if it was for a brief moment, sharing wonderful times with your loved ones. I am sure that you will be looking down on us next Saturday where your mom and I, Cyn and Sam will be celebrating your life with fond memories and lots of laughter. Happy Birthday to you my love, forever in my heart and in my dreams. I love you, your Pamela.

Five months today... seems like yesterday since our last moment together physically. Thank you for being with me in spirit so much the past few days, it made the holidays so much easier to get through knowing that you were here by my side. Your mother and I continue to grow in our relationship and I am blessed to have her in my life.
Thank you for all the gifts that you left me especially your family ...... I will continue to love and cherish their companionship and honor your life and being. Always, your soulmate

A month has passed since you went away and my heart is still aching so for your presence and companionship. As was said so appropriately by Gibran in The Prophet "and ever has it been that love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation" so my love as seen the depth. I miss you so, my true love and soulmate Tom.

As I was going through some of "our" momentos, I came across a card which I had written Tom these words.......
"I love in you a something that only I have discovered - the you - which is beyond the you of the world that is admired, loved and known by others; a "you" which is especially mine, which cannot ever change, and which I cannot ever cease to love."
I loved and adored Tom and that love will never cease to exist. Tom will live forever in my heart.
