A service to celebrate the life of Trevor Mark Ortiz will be held at 1:30 p.m , Thursday, October 4, 2007 at Newton-Bracewell Funeral Home, burial will take place at Glen Oaks Memorial Park. Born in Paradise and raised in Chico. He graduated from PV High School in 2003. He worked at ARC, enjoyed sports, music, camping at Fort Bragg and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his dad and mom, Juan and Dee Dee Ortiz, twin brother, Travis (Kim), brothers, Jaime (Liz) Rivera, Scott, Eric, Tyler and Jared, sisters, Christy (Roger) Cruz, Brittany, Chelsea, Alyssa, Monique, Aryanna and Olivia, nephews and nieces; Stephen, Jaime jr, Azari, Elisa, Armani, Isabella, Delores and Kyla. Many aunt and uncles, best friend Joey Gardner. Born with Spina Bifida, Trevor spent most of his life in a wheel chair, but he stood above the crowd with his big smile and zest for life. Thank you, Dr. Tedford for all your support over the years. Trevor, we love you so much, there is a void in our home but we will see you on the other side.

I just heard of Trevor's passing. My heart and prayers are with the Ortiz family. Trevor was a long time friend, and will be deeply missed. I am glad to have known him throughout our elementary, junior high and highschool years. He was always a bright spirited person. God Bless, Trevor!

I'm sorry to hear of your resent loss, as Trevor was always around to greet visitors at the Ortiz home! I'm a great friend of Trevors brother Travis and would just like to say Trevor had a HUGE heart, and was excellent at sharing his love!!! Even though I hadn't had a on-going personal relationship with Trevor, as i mentioned above he always was quick to say hello which always made me feel welcome at their home!!!!
