Dear Glenda... As I was looking for your name tonite on facebook to invite you to my 70th birthday, I learned of Craigs death by accident. I had found your name and sent you a message on Facebook. I then checked to see if he had a page and it referred me to the ER. There I saw his obituary and was so shocked to read about him. I am so sorry Glenda. If I had known I would surely have contacted you and would have visited if I could. Craig was such a good person and a wonderful musician. He gave me my first start in music and I went on from there. You have always meant so much to me as a friend and am so sorry that I was not there to give you the support. I will contact you as soon as I can or you me. All my Love, Cheryl

Craig Strode, what emotions his name brings to my wife and I. I vaguely remember him playing at the teen dances when I was much younger. Craig as playing at the Silver Room in down town Chico on the night I met this delightful you lady who I danced the night away with. Craig played many nights during our courtship and into our marriage. Over the years we were delighted to attend many functions where Craig played. Our daughter got married and we would not have anyone play for her reception whose name wasn't Craig Strode. Craig forever endeared himself to my wife by dedicating the song Pretty Woman to her.
While we never kept close to Craig, he was always in our hearts. Our hearts now have a piece missing with the loss of Craig Strode
Heaven is now a better place with Craig's presence and his music.
We Love You Craig.

Craig was a very thoughtful, generous person in addition to being a great musician. I had the honor of knowing him for almost 30 years, and he was always consistently polite and courteous. He was a good friend

So sorry to hear of Craig's passing. As a child I spent many hours at his parent's house playing with his sister Kathy. We will miss him playing at our class reunions. Love to his family.

Craig was certainly a music icon in the north Valley. I remember his band in the days of high school dances and the teen dance at the fairgrounds in Chico decades ago. He will be sorely missed by lovers all fun music.

We and the winery community of Napa Valley will miss Craig. He and the Cottonwood Band played at our annual Paradigm Winery party for the last eight years along with many other events we were a part of. His talent and enthusiasm seemed boundless as did his energy and kind spirit.
