It's hard to believe
it has been a year since you went away,
As we have missed you since each and every day.
We miss your sayings about growing old,
And proudly remember how you served in the
Army and started
Walsenburg Sand & Gravel, if truth be told.
Every time we think of you, our hearts fill with pride,
And though we will
always miss you; we know you are by our side.
You worked hard all
your life and now it is
time to rest.
We know you are
watching over us, so please guide us to do
our best.
