Renee (Moas) Lewis
Renee (Moas) Lewis went to be with her lord and savior on Feb. 20, 2021. She was born on July 24, 1962, in Sherman, Texas. Renee's father was a career Air Force veteran, which prompted numerous moves in her childhood. Something she was proud of was living in various places in the U.S., as well as Japan. Finally ending up in Colorado, she graduated from Mitchell High School in Colorado Springs then continued her education by obtaining an associate's degree at Pikes Peak Community College. She worked numerous jobs in her lifetime, including over 20 years at Evraz Steel Mill, finishing there in the shipping dept. Renee enjoyed spending time with her family, trips to the mountains, camping and fishing. She was a dedicated Broncos fan, with Bronco Sunday being her favorite day of the week. She loved going to the movies, cooking and reading. In the high points of her life, she was a dedicated mother, 'nana boo-boo,' and caretaker for her parents. She was always proud of her family's accomplishments. Renee was preceded in her death by her father, CMSgt (retired) Douglas A. Moas. She is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Moas; sisters, Kim (Warren) Dalley and Becky (Dave) Rutkiewic; her daughters, Tiffaney (Tony) Salerno, Stephanie (Chad) Pfeif; and grandchildren, Luke, Jenni, Harper, Taylor and Dawson. A memorial service will be held in her honor for immediate family and by invitation only at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, at the Pueblo Country Club.
