Ruby Generally Obituary
Pueblo - Ruby "Tina" Generally (Valdez) passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, in her home in Pueblo, Colo., on Dec. 10, 2020, after a long battle with liver disease. Tina is survived by her two sons, Jamison Valdez and Dale (Lindsay) Generally; and adopted daughter, Bonnie (Jason) Karle; along with eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Tina is also survived by siblings, Paul (Rhonda) Valdez, Esteban Valdez and John Valdez; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceding Tina in death was her spouse of over 32 years, Alan Generally; her parents, Paul R. and Mary N. Valdez; brother, Gilbert Valdez; and her special grandma, Bonita "Bonnie" Valdez. Tina was a nurse of over 40 years and a hospice nurse for 11 with Sangre de Cristo Hospice, which ultimately provided end-of-life care for her. Tina held her Licensed Practical Nursing License from Southern Colorado State College as well as, her Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN, RN) from Regents College. She was a very active and respected member of the Pueblo community and the compassionate care she provided her patients will long be appreciated by countless families in Pueblo and the surrounding areas. Tina's family is looking to spring of 2021 to have an outdoor, appropriately-distanced celebration of the life of Tina Generally and will place an announcement once arrangements are final.

Tina was a Hospice coworker and a dear friend for over 30 years. She had a great gift for caring for others and she is now a guardian angel for those she loved. Jaimie and Dale, our heartfelt condolences to you and your families!

Aunt Tina was one of the most caring, non judgemental people I've ever met in my life. If you ever met her, you instantly loved her. You felt welcomed in her presence. I'm going to definitely miss her green chili. . But most of all I will miss her soft welcoming voice. Miss you lots aunt Tina.
