Theda Belle (Wilkison) Boal
Apache Junction - Theda Belle Boal of Apache Junction, Ariz., loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and sister in Christ passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 2, 2021, at the age of 79 years. Theda's love of the Lord was present in everything she did. She was a member of the Gold Canyon Church of Christ. She loved her family and fellowship of her church family. Theda was born in Pontiac, Mich., on Sept. 29, 1941, to parents Charles and Edith Wilkison. She met the love of her life in high school, James Boal. They were married on Nov. 19, 1960. They raised three sons, Craig Steven, James Jr. (deceased), Keith Franklin and daughter, Cheryl Marie. Theda is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jim; sons, Craig and Keith (Carrie); daughter, Cheryl; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson and extended family. Theda was the last surviving member of her family. Preceded by parents; son, Jim Jr.; two brothers, two sisters and one sister-in-law. There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Gold Canyon Church of Christ, 58215 Camino Fuego, Gold Canyon, AZ 85118. There will also be a memorial service at 2 p.m. on her 80th birthday, Sept. 29, 2021, at Roselawn Gardens Cemetery, Pueblo, Colo. At her request, donations may be made to New Mexico Children's Home. Theda will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Theda May you Rest in Peace! Theda was a positive person at work, always a smile on her face. We worked together for many years, and always a kind word & an offer to lend a hand. May your loved ones, find peace & comfort, with so many positive memories.

I worked with Theda at the 29th Street Safeway many years ago. She was one of the nicest, happiest people I have ever worked with. I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my prayers.
