Douglas Bernhardt Obituary
CHILLICOTHE : Douglas E. Bernhardt, Sr., 55, of Chillicothe, died Monday, July 10, 2017 at Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
He was born May 28, 1962, in Cincinnati to Ralph and LaVerne Enderle Bernhardt.
Surviving in addition to his mother, LaVerne Burton, of Cincinnati are children, Jesicah Bernhardt and fiancé Michael Feltner, of Mt. Orab, Douglas Bernhardt Jr., of Columbus, Taylor Bernhardt, of Chillicothe and Kellie Jaeger, of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Layla and Ava Feltner; three sisters, Debbie (Mike) Carroll, Jane Anderson, and Terri Elliott, all of Cincinnati; special friends, Darla Butler and Bonnie Sams, both of Chillicothe. He was predeceased by his father, Ralph and stepfather, Jim Burton.
Douglas was a truck driver and past member of Avengers M.C.
Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Don Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 11-1 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday.

Dougie,there are just not enough words to say how we feel,or what kind of person you were. You were,careing ,giving,and would do anythinng for anyone if they needed it. You always made sure people had a great time if you were around,definately the life of the party. You were a one of a kind,and will ALWAYS be remembered. We love you buddy,you definately left us to soon.

To Dougs family, I am so sorry for your loss. Doug was a great person a a good friend. He always had a smile and always the life of the party. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
