Loretta Buchanan

CHILLICOTHE: Loretta Buchanan, 78 of Chillicothe, died 2:10 p.m., Friday, November 5, 2010 in the Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville, OH following an extended illness.

She was born October 12, 1932, in Brilliant, OH, the daughter of James and Minnie Hilliard Wilson. May 21, 1949 she married Albert Buchanan who preceded her in death November 22, 1999.

Surviving are three daughters, Victoria Smith, Georgetown, Cheryl Shepard, Hopedale, and Duane Anderson Rhoads, Lynchburg; two sons, Albert Buchanan, Waukegan, IL and John Buchanan, Hillsboro; 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Margaret Lesure Weirton, WV, Noamia Mathhews, Brilliant, and Brity Barns, NC.

Her parents; husband; one son, James; and a sister, Gladys preceded her in death.

Calling hours will not be observed. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in the Ft. Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville, OH. The Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home is serving the family.

Mom Christmas will be hear soon and is going to be hard not to be sharing it with you, Your In my heart but I would love to see you face and your smile again. Mom I miss you so bad, I wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas.

Oh Mom, I know that Juess called you home,and your work on earth was done, but how do I keep going? I miss you and when I read your name in the obituary,it's hard I know this time was coming,, But Mom how do I said Good-Bye? I keep you close in my heart,and not a day goes by when I want to talk to you or pick up the phone and call you. Just to hear your voice and see how you are doing today. ,oh Mom I miss you so bad.

Mom, you were a very good preson, I will miss you very much, I was so glad to be able to spent my child hood and these last couple months with you. and one day I will be able to see you again,I will hold you close in my heart,now and forever. you are with juess now and I know he will take care of you, this is hard for me to do and it hurts me only cause I know you are not here for me to talk to. I wish you could of stayed longer with me, I loved the way you would just tell it like it was and never beat around the bush,and did not care who liked it or not. Mom I will really miss you more then anyone will know,you meat so much to me, I am glad to have been your grandson,I wish we had more time.
