Robert Miller Obituary
WAVERLY: Robert L. Miller, a.k.a. "Farmer Miller", 87, of Waverly passed away 11:52 a.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2016 in Edgewood Manor Nursing Home in Wellston, Ohio following a brief illness.
He was born June 20, 1928, in Ross County, to the late Arthur and Nellie Carnes Miller. On December 18, 1948, he married the former Frieda M. Butterbaugh who passed away December 1, 2012.
Surviving are a daughter, Wilma M. (Clinton) Phillips, of Grayson, KY; grandchildren, Kimberly L. (Stan Minney) Avery, of Wellston, Tammy Parker, of Chillicothe and Anthony "Tony" Parker, of Waverly; 8 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; a brother, Earl (Loretta) Miller, of Kingston; numerous nieces and nephews; and a caregiver who was like a daughter to him, Courtney Hall, of Bidwell, OH. In addition to his mother and father, he was predeceased by 10 brothers and 6 sisters.
Robert was a member of Walnut Valley Church. He was a steel worker, school bus driver and a professional wrestler for the Al Haft Promotion Big Time Wrestling. Robert was a life time member of the F.O.E. Aries 600 and 30 year member of Moose Lodge 1626.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, January 11, 2016 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with his grandson, Anthony Parker and Rev. Randall L. Rinehart officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery on Denver Road in Waverly. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service on Monday.
The family would like to thank the staff of Edgewood Manor and Heartland Hospice for the care given to Robert and love to our family during this difficult time.

R. I. P Bob was one of the finest man I have know we had a lot of good times together he was full of fun and always happy . And a friend to all we all loved. Bob and will sadly be missed
