Shirley Hawk Obituary
PEEBLES: Shirley M. Hawk, 76 years of Peebles, passed away on Tuesday September 27, 2016.
She was born in Sinking Spring on October 24, 1939, the daughter of the late George and Lucille (West) Tolle. Besides her parents she was also preceded by her husband, Sherman Hawk, two sons, Rick and Gary Hawk, two brothers, George and Ronnie Tolle and sister, Delores Grooms.
Shirley is survived by her three sons, Larry (Deanna) Hawk of Bainbridge, Tony (Lila) Hawk of Peebles and Sherman (Carrie) Hawk, Jr. of Chillicothe, sister, Janis Ison of Bainbridge, 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Graveside Service will be 1:00 PM Friday September 30, 2016 at the Givens Chapel Cemetery, 8026 Germany Road, Waverly, OH.
Donations can be made to the Thompson Funeral Home, 241 East Main St. Hillsboro, OH 45133.

So lost for words to comfort all of you, know that we love you & are here anytime you would need anything...She treated me like family years before I was, I will always cherish memories of her,such a sweet soul...God seen her suffering & thought she had bearred enough so he called her home, God must have needed another angel, so he chose the best when he picked her, I am going to miss her so so much, Fly high angel, now you can dance again in the sky!

Dear Sherman and the Hawk family, I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. The stories I have heard about her and your family I truly think she was the cornerstone of your family. I would have loved to have met her. I told someone today if I had a sons and family like hers and the love and care you have all given her, I would be a blessed Mother. God be with you in the coming days and peace in your hearts.
