NANCY ELIZABETH RENSHAW
Nancy Elizabeth Renshaw, age 80, of Wheeling, MO; passed away at her home Saturday, May 4, 2024, in
Wheeling, MO.
Nancy was born the daughter of Carroll B. and Virginia Caroline (Jenkins) Weakley on February 23, 1944, in Culpeper County, Virginia. Nancy attended school in Culpeper, Virginia. She loved going to the dance halls so she could kick up her heels. This is where she met the love of her life, Robert W. Renshaw. They were married on June 29, 1962, in Culpeper, Virginia. He preceded her in death on March 30, 2018.
Nancy started her career with Wal-Mart in 1975 as a jewelry consultant. Nancy managed several area stores over 27 years with Wal-Mart. She retired as a District Regional Manager over an eight-state area.
After her retirement, Nancy changed her focus on raising Pugs with a special fondness to one named Casino. See Nancy loved to go play the slot machines. She played with the excitement and anticipation of the lights blinking and the bells ringing, of maybe hitting the next big jackpot. Nancy was known to have plenty of flowers and keep her yard in perfect condition.
Nancy is survived by her two daughters, Teresa Smith and John of Norborne, MO; and Rane Vosberg and Sam of Aurora, MO; one son, Robert "Bobby" Renshaw and Amy of Edwards, MO; four grandchildren, Jessica Nickel of Wheeling, MO; Katie Woody and Joe of Wheeling, MO; Cassie Cummins and Matt of Kansas City, MO; and Aubrey Walker and Corbin of Fort Drum, NY; two step-grandchildren, Josh Smith and Renee of Oak Grove, MO; and Jamie Huff and Scott of St. Joseph, MO; nine great-grandchildren, Tearcyn, JC, Gracelyn, Oliver, Sammie, Maggie, Hunter, Tucker, and Jocelyn; one very special aunt, Anna Covington, who was like a sister, of Culpeper, VA; and several other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, infant twin sisters, and grandson, Brayden Nickel.
Cremation had been entrusted to Rhodes Funeral Home in
Brookfield, MO. Nancy had her way and determination, so to honor her wishes, no services will be held.
