Cara L. Iverson, age 62, of Two Harbors, Minn., died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2006, at St. Luke's Hospital.
She was born Oct. 3, 1943, in Two Harbors to Walter and Dorothy (Morris) Anderson. She graduated from Two Harbors High School and graduated from UMD with a teaching degree. She raised her two boys in Menomonie before returning to Two Harbors.
She enjoyed gardening, nature, reading, and searching for unusual treasures.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her former husband, Sherman; and very special friend, Tony Pate.
Cara is survived by her sons, Ethan (Sarah) of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Spencer of Duluth, Minn.; a brother, Walter (Arlis) Anderson of Two Harbors; three sisters, Margaret (James) Rindahl of Gig Harbor, Wash., and Kathleen Anderson and June (Bud) Juenemann, both of Two Harbors; several close nieces and nephews; and Tony's children, Nathan (Mary Heikkala) Pate of Minneapolis, Minn., and Tera (David) Coppola of Lomira.
Memorial services are at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2006, at the Cavallin Funeral Home in Two Harbors.
